Hi, I’m Vanessa! I am a wife, a dog mom, and someone whose faith in Jesus is the foundation of everything I do. My Husband and I have known each other since middle school, and it feels like he’s been a part of my life forever. He’s not only my life partner but also my best friend, and I’m so grateful for the beautiful life we have built together. We share our home with four lovable pups: Izzy, Kylo Ren, Oliver, and Leila. I love coffee dates, listening to music, and curling up with a good book. I’m also a hopeless romantic who wears my heart on my sleeve and finds joy in encouraging others.
My journey into photography all started with my pup Izzy. I didn’t want to forget how tiny she was her sweet face, her floppy ears, and personality. (Yes, she had her own Instagram!) What started as a fun way to hold on to fleeting moments became something much deeper I realized I wasn’t just snapping photos, I was holding on to the feelings, the milestones, the memories that shape us.
Before long, I was photographing friends and families. When I captured my first maternity session, something completely changed. From a young age, I’ve felt a deep love and connection to all things motherhood. I didn’t always understand why, but I knew it was something sacred, something that pulled at my heart.
That first session felt different. The beauty, the emotion, the strength. I wasn’t just drawn to it, I felt part of it. Supporting women, empowering them, and helping them feel seen has always come naturally to me. So it was no surprise when I felt called to do more than document these moments, I needed to walk beside women through them.
That calling led me to birth work. Being a doula has allowed me to blend my passion for nurturing and storytelling. It lets me show up in meaningful ways that matter most with presence, love, and unwavering support. I believe women’s bodies are beautifully designed by God to give birth and when we trust our intuition and embrace our power, we step into motherhood with confidence, strength, and grace. Whether I’m behind the camera or by your side during labor, my mission is the same: to honor your story, uplift your experience, and create a safe, empowering space where you feel deeply supported and truly seen.

Becoming a doula felt like a calling placed gently on my heart by the Lord. I’ve always been drawn to caring for and supporting women, and what began as simply documenting families slowly grew into something much more meaningful. I realized I didn’t just want to preserve your moments, I wanted to be present in them with you. In those sacred, in-between moments, I witnessed transformation, strength, and vulnerability, the kind of moments that change you.
Today I serve families as both a motherhood photographer and a birth doula, supporting women through pregnancy, labor, and the early days of postpartum. Being invited into these spaces is something I don’t take lightly.
My work is grounded in a deep respect for each mother’s unique journey. I believe birth is not a medical event, it’s a powerful, transformative experience, thoughtfully designed by God.
